I know it’s been a solid month since I’ve done a blog post, but y’all, March was a blast. Looking back, the month did not go at all how I planned and
I’m so happy for it.
March really started the last weekend of February when my car’s check engine light came on. After speaking to a few mechanics, the diagnosis was clear – it was time to say good bye to my beloved black Sonata. I learned how to drive in that car and had my first kiss in that car. While it was a hand-me-down from my parents, I personally put almost 100,000 miles on that car. I was less than 500 miles away from 160,000 and I almost wish I could have hit it.
As big as buying a car is, that’s not the only big change that happened in my life. I’m in the middle of interviewing for a new position at my current employer. This job would come with a pretty decent pay raise (I’ve never had a pay raise sine graduating college, it’s about time) and new challenges. While I’m still waiting for that, I feel that I have a pretty decent shot at this job.
A car and a possible new job weren’t the only things I had up my sleeve last month. Last Tuesday, I dropped my first book in two and a half years, Airtime and Alibis. I’ll be talking about the book in detail later this week.
But this past month wasn’t all daisies. Part of the reason I was gone was because some dipshit dumped some malicious code into the blog and took it down for a few weeks. I’m back up now, but there are still a lot of things not quite right. It’s a long process, so I can only ask for patience while we figure it out.
Until then, I’m still working on some new goals for the month, but I want to recap my actual goals for March.
March Goals

So I’d say for March, I did pretty good. Granted, I didn’t get any goals done for ginger and co., but there were things out of my control and knowing I couldn’t work on the blog finally allowed me to get Airtime and Alibis out.
So what’s on deck for April?
