Sometime last week, I decided that I wasn’t going to count January 2019 in my overall assessment of 2019. Why? Because I didn’t get much creative work done! Last weekend was really the first weekend I spent a good chunk of my time at my desk working, writing content, making plans, editing. It felt so nice to have that weekend and I’m so ready to spend most weekends doing that again.
But one weekend out of four or five isn’t good enough and I’ve got to kick it into high tail and get going with February. That’s the plan this month and I am so so ready to get going with it.
That being said, I did pretty meh on creative goals for January, but that’s okay. I moved, I fought with my apartment complex over a damn thermostat and heat, I joined a new gym and I worked a lot of overtime.

- do one final readthrough and spell check on the book
- Finalize the book cover
- make to-do list for release

- start rewrites on the second book in the series
We’re getting real close to releasing a book and oh my gosh, I’m getting anxious
Ginger and Co. goals
- get all of February’s posts done this weekend
- write four newsletters, so every weekend
- Launch the Facebook group for reals
That’s really it, as I’m really focusing on Laura Teagan stuff this month. I’m so close to this book being ready, I think it could be out by mid-March at the latest. Send wine though, as I will be drinking all of it the night I publish this book.
