We’ve already talked about why your About Me and your Contact pages are so important, but what about the rest of those pages? Those other pages? Obviously, those will be the two people view the most, but what if you have something else you’re big for?Â
Like my blog, I originally started blogging as a platform to advertise my book on inkpop. So, the book being a page itself has always been a must for me. If you’re sick of listening to me talk about it now, wait until it’s out! If you own a store, you’ll definitely want a link in your navigation to your store. That’s your income, you need to be proud of it!
Frequently asked questions are always good to have. I don’t know about y’all, but I love going through and reading FAQ pages – they give me a sense of the next layer under the basis you see on an about me page. If you have a lot of content, a “Best Of” page is a good place for someone to start diving into your content, I mean, you want to capture people in with the best!
If you’ve been featured on other blogs, you may also want to have a “featured on” section on this page – or if you’ve been a lot of places, you may want a whole page dedicated to that. You may also have an advertising page. I’ve seen some people combine this with the contact page, but some people have too much information about advertising to condense it into the contact page. That one is ultimately your call. Overall, there’s several pages you can add to your blog, but you don’t want to add too many or you’ll overwhelm your readers! What pages do you like to see on a blog?
